After your first send, we will call you. We need to verify your details before you can send with us again.

• A selfie holding your Identity Document
• Proof of Address
  • Utility bill Example: Electricity, council tax, gas, water, or internet bill.
  • Bank or Credit card Statement

NOTE

If a customer wishes to send between £600 – £4,000 per month, Mukuru is obligated by HMRC UK Laws and Regulations to validate your Identity Document and address.

Your Identity Document is processed through software that validates your Identity Document and address. If we are unable to validate your address you will also be required to upload a proof of address.

We need to verify your documents to activate this send limit. It can take up to 24 hours.

(In order to send more than £4,000 per month, Mukuru is obligated to obtain proof of source of funds documentation)

  • Last 3 months Bank Statements, Last 3 months Payslips, or Deed of Sale
  • Other appropriate documentation

You will only be able to upload proof of source of funds once you have successfully increased your limits to £4,000 per month (CORE).
